Seema Sahukaiah is an independent designer working with a focus on structure, restraint, and presence. Her work explores how clothing can hold power quietly — through form, construction, and intentional design rather than excess.

Each piece is developed with an emphasis on silhouette and control, balancing strength with precision. The designs are not trend-led, but shaped by discipline and long-term relevance.

Working primarily in black, Seema’s collections are built around a recognisable design language that values clarity over noise and individuality over mass appeal. The garments are created for women who lead — women who choose how they are seen.

The label operates on a limited, made-to-order approach, allowing for thoughtful construction and considered evolution with each collection.

Every woman who has ever lost herself — in love, in someone else's story — understands what it means to begin again from the darkest place.

The silk came from memory. Her grandfather was the first man in his village to begin silk farming. When he passed, that story passed with him. No one carried it forward. She did.

In Bangalore, the palace stands in black and gold — ancient, structured, unapologetic. That is the language of this label.
